We have an incredible lineup of 20 (!!!!) shows by queer artists from across the city and the country for you at Queerly this year! With drag and drama, punk and pride, there’s something for every queer here. We have shows including English, Spanish, ASL, Hindi, Yiddish, and more! We’re so proud to be able to offer this festival to our community and hope that these shows allow more people to see themselves reflected on stage. 

FRIDAY

Join the Caribbean Equality Project and our community partners for the inaugural “Little Guyana Pride” celebration, themed “Our Visibility is Resistance,” at Liberty Palace, Richmond Hill, Queens. The Pride and Caribbean Heritage Month celebration will highlight the intersectionality of LGBTQ+ immigrants within the New York City diaspora through a screening of the award-winning short film “Caribbean Queen,” directed by Sekiya Dorsett, followed by a panel discussion featuring community activists, artists, cultural performances, and remarks from elected officials.

Only This Room is an immersive, site-specific evening of music and performance collaboratively devised by an intergenerational cohort of queer artists: international composer and performance artist Anthony R. Green, acclaimed yangqin player Mantawoman (Silk Road Ensemble), singer and harpist Ruth Cunningham (Anonymous 4), marimbist and cultural activist Steph Davis, and ChamberQUEER cofounder and soprano Danielle Buonaiuto. Co-conceived with award-winning composers inti figgis-vizueta and Eve Beglarian, Only This Room weaves together words and music of queer ancestors past and present, imagining new ways to create a shared genealogy and manifest a vision for the future.

Join us for a liberatory celebration of Black LGBTQ+ joy with grit and glam, inspired by the spirit of Juneteenth and the defiant elegance of rodeo culture. Denim, fringe, mesh, leather, rhinestones, and western glam encouraged! This event is free and open to all members of the community.

Need to reconnect with nature & other queer leather freaks this Pride? SUBMIT has you covered!!! A great pre-game before Brooklyn Pride Parade!!! This is BYOB (responsibly, we’ll be in public!) - Please bring a blanket and other comfort supplies, snacks you like and join us for a cute cruise & chill!! Crafts and games welcomed! Note that this is OPEN TO ANYONE, not just vetted members ;^)

Located at the Picnic House Lawn. Masks encouraged! You can spot us by the Trans Pride flag we’ll have up.

Trans stories (and theatre) are more important now than ever before, and 54 Below is proud to highlight trans storytelling with We The People. This brand-new concert features an all trans cast sharing their experiences through song and speech, all while celebrating trans joy and resilience. Featuring a wide variety of music from Broadway and beyond and produced by Reese Brooks, We the People highlights the importance and impact of queer voices. Join this cast for an unforgettable evening of heartfelt and inspirational storytelling!
