A full-length drama/comedy that explores the meaning of masculinity today, “Dancing for Brigid” concerns a desperate member of a young adult LGBTQ group seeking help from their mentor, who tells the story of his own coming out as a 1990s married man. The group helps spin the tale, combining hip-hop and Irish dancing that honors the ancient Celtic priestess/warrior Brigid. 19 cast members of varying ages, races, & genders play 45 characters.

Each year, La MaMa’s Squirts gathers the most exciting voices from New York City’s queer performance world, across the generations. Members of the Brooklyn drag collective Haus of Quench (est 2020) collaborate on an homage to the Blacklips Performance Cult (est 1992-1995), starring Klondyke, Spawn, Vague Static, and Polyester, with a special appearance from Claywoman. Featuring works by Lily of the Valley, Lost Forever, and Flloyd.
