The next Trans Art Bazaar will be this upcoming April 2nd, 2023 at House of Yes from 1PM - 7PM! There will be art, drinks, and a raffle featuring pieces from a number of the involved artists.

Poetry Undressed is an experimental poetry burlesque experience. One by one, burlesque dancers bring poetry readings to life with movement over a hypnotic backdrop of improvised upright bass.
We make this offering of intimacy in order to investigate HEDONISM - seeking pleasure for its own sake, in rebellion against the shame & constraints society and we, ourselves, put on our desires.

I know TDOV can bring complicated emotions about what it means to be trans and visible. Social media is not my bag, and I rarely post for TDOV, but as I was checking Instagram for events this morning, I was touched by all of the posts from trans people I follow taking a moment to celebrate themselves. Thank you for the joy and beauty you brought to me today. You are all a balm for my hungover soul.

I've been enjoying the updates - especially since they highlight what's trending on the internet and why, so I don't have to go hate-read Twitter posts just to stay relevant.
